Legacy draws the rapt attention of music fanatics wherever they play.  These talented multi-instrumentalists perform an extensive repertoire of tunes and songs from the Irish tradition.  Their skill is undeniable, their arrangements complex and challenging, and their performances tight and energetic.  Said Dirty Linen magazine: “This band fills the bill…a delicate combination of full-speed ahead attack and subtle finesse.”

Quin

Traditional Irish music delivered with purity and passion is Quin’s hallmark.  Their spirited performances  bring centuries-old music and song to life in the Bay Area.

Thursday Morning

Thursday Morning is a female quintet from Chico.  They play traditional Scottish and Irish tunes as well as American folk songs.  They are affiliated with the Pub Scouts, a band that has been playing traditional Irish music in Chico for more than 20 years.

The Jig’s Up

With Chris Bayer playing fiddle in the traditional style, on the chest,
this band including Tom Dose, Gary Lyon and Matt Lucchesi play regularly

Parking/Carpooling

Parking is at the event grounds—please make all attempts to carpool.  It gets people to the event in fewer cars and it’s more fun to be with your friends.  But more importantly, it gives you the opportunity to be, or be with, a designated driver.  Do not come to this event and think about drinking and driving.  Yeah, you’ll make it up the mountain, but will you make it back down?  Have a plan.?

What to bring:

Smiles are mandatory.

You may want to also consider bringing sunblock, a hat, or even your favorite lawn chair.  We are in the mountains so it is always a good idea to double check the weather forecast  to plan for anything you might need.?

Check Back Often for Updates.
